Course Objectives
This competency unit specifies the knowledge and skills required of a security officer and auxiliary police officer to describe contemporary terrorist threats, identify personborne threats, vehicle-borne threats and object-based threats.
Course Outcome
On completion of this module, learners shall be able to have the knowledge & application skills to perform the following:
- Describe Contemporary Terrorist Threats
- Identify Person-borne Threats
- Identify Vehicle-borne Threats
- Identify Object-based Threats

Pre-requisite Skills & Knowledge
Candidates who signed up for this course MUST meet the following pre-requisites:
- Read, write and speak English at WPL1 Level 4
- Manipulate numbers at WPN2 Level 4
- Act in a professional manner
- Observe confidentiality
