Course Objectives
At end of this course, learners will be able to:
- Carry out Guard & Patrol Services so that they can perform their duties effectively & professionally
- Attain a statement of attainment (SOA) for this competency unit with the aim of achieving the WSQ Security Certificate in Security Operations
# This course is 1 of the 3 mandatory modules for Security license & performing of security duties in Singapore.
Course Outcome
On completion of this module, learners shall be able to have the knowledge & application skills to perform the following:
- Prepare Work Activities
- Guarding Static Position
- Handling Telephone Calls & Lost-and-Found Properties
- Patrolling Premises
- Making reports & Hand-Over Duties
Pre-requisite Skills & Knowledge
Candidates who signed up for this course MUST meet the following pre-requisites:
- Have at least a Primary Education Qualification
- Ability to listen & speak in English at ESS1 WPLN2 level 4
- Ability to read & write in English at ESS WPLN level 4
