Course Objectives
This course equips security personnel with the knowledge and skills to prepare for work activities, deter threatening behaviour through visible security presence and deal with disorderly/threatening behaviour
This is one of the mandatory courses, as required under the PWM1, for licensed Security Officer (SO) to attain prior to be upgraded to Senior Security Officer.
Course Outcome
On completion of this module, learners shall be able to have the knowledge & application skills to perform the following:
- Prepare for work activities
- Deter threatening behaviour through visible security presence
- Deal with disorderly/threatening behaviour
Pre-requisite Skills & Knowledge
Candidates who signed up for this course MUST meet the following pre-requisites:
- Listen and speak English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills WSQ (ES WSQ) Level 4
- Read and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills WSQ (ES WSQ) Level 4
- Manipulate numbers at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills WSQ (ES WSQ) Level 4
